BET is quickly becoming one of our favorite TV channels! Last week Crime Mob was in the house and did a rendition of “Rock Yo Hips.” Of course we also think it’s pretty cool that they told their fans to call their SayNow number!

A number of folks have been asking why some people on SayNow have phone numbers and why some only have text-in codes to give out.

So, to clarify, everyone who signs up for a SayNow account gets a text-in code. Your text-in code is the SayNow username you come up with and anyone who sends a text message to SAYNOW (729669) with your username in the message will get a call back from us (usually within 10 seconds). When they answer, they’ll be able to leave you a message and will also be signed up to get your broadcasts.

A SayNow number lets people call in to leave messages and sign up for broadcasts. We reserve these numbers for people who have a large audience (1,000 or more fans) or for people who have a unique or creative project in mind. Get in touch with us if that’s you!

…because she might be tempted to give R.Kelly a call. That’s right, R.Kelly actually put his SayNow number in his new his video (and he’s tellin’ all the ladies to call “if your man ain’t hittin you right”).

Can’t say he didn’t warn you.

Check it out! Tyrese was on BET earlier this month and announced his SayNow number! w00t!

UPDATE 8/28/07: Tyrese has a new number: (818) 287-8968. He’ll only be checking messages at this number and you can only get broadcasts from him by calling the new number. The old one (which he gives out in the video) will be disabled soon!

And we’re hoping to keep you up to date with all the new things going on over here. The number of folks on SayNow has just about tripled in the last few weeks (!!!!) so we’ve been working super hard to make sure everything runs smoothly.
