More on keeping it real…

There’s an interesting post by Patrick Ruffini on the techPresident blog with some recommendations on how political candidates in the upcoming elections can address the “authenticity dilemma” of text, web, and email campaigns.
Zack Exley has famously urged candidates to write their own emails, but even if they did, would people believe it was them? …we’ll know for sure it’s them, in video or voice, delivering a message many times more compelling than plain text.
…the idea of connecting to supporters via voice rather than SMS and email is as old as the auto-dialer in politics. Imagine if a candidate could send a phone message to its entire supporter list through a simple Web-based interface…Then imagine it was free. That’s exactly what SayNow is doing in the entertainment community…

i really can’t tell which i would side with, but i am leaning towards obama. Furthermore, the GOP base is not even warming up to mccain (of course, i could be wrong) and even though it’s still early in the game, this just proves to show how we see our candidates to-date. i know i will get burned for this, but i think mccain is a warmonger. i get the impression that he doesn’t care to what happens to our troops in the middle east and the other parts of the world. Can’t we just all get along? i think it is time for a purification; i think it is time for a change; i think it is time for obama time. Now that the candidates are set for the US Presidential Election, Barack Obama and John McCain are beginning to set the tone for their campaign and i just want to share this video that i saw earlier in pollclash that the two presidential candidates talked about their plans on how to solve the huge taxes that we are paying now..and so far i like the plans of Obama than McCain has,,well you can see the video in http://pollclash.com
