The Fam announced that they’ve just dropped a new mixtape called Family Affair which can be downloaded for FREE right now over at Head Nod Music. And, as a tribute to their fans, they’ve included some fan messages they’ve gotten via SayNow. Sweet!
Also here’s Timid’s new video Let Freedom Ring. Check it.
Robert Kelly is a comedian who’s been on Comedy Central, Law and Order, MTV, The Carson Daly Show and The Job. He sent his first broadcast last Friday.
If you haven’t had the privilege of being in his presence or seeing any of his shows, here he is on Comedy Central talking about boobs (his own :)… Gotta love a man who can own up to his own boobs.
We just got this plaque in the mail today from Flyleaf! Yay! Thanks guys!! and congratulations!! It’s not easy to do what you guys just did these days.
For posterity, here’s a photo of Jonathan, Vanae, and Brian M with Lacey at the Flyleaf show earlier this year :)
Aww, how sweet is this?! Selena Gomez called a couple of her SayNow fans last week and posted this video on YouTube. “These people are the reason why I’m here,” she said.
For those wondering how she did this, SayNow has a feature that lets an artist connect live to a fan by pressing 5 after listening to a message. They can also save a message as a favorite, find it on their SayNow page and reply to the person who sent it. Just so you know, we DON’T give out anybody’s real number and we recommend that you DON’T leave your real number in your messages. That said, you should call and leave her a message!!
Funny man Mike Epps wants to know if you’ve got a good joke for him (cause comedians need to be entertained too). You might even get to be on his show if it’s a good one.
Totally unrelated…here he is reppin Indiana in this tribute to his home state - I LOVE this video (and I’m not even from Indiana).
Here’s an inspirational story. John Vesely, aka Secondhand Serenade, is a local musician from Menlo Park, CA who built a devoted online following (to the point where was bringing in up to $20,000 a month from online downloads and merchandise sales) before signing with Glassnote Records. His new album and single “Fall For You” is currently making its way up the charts.
He’s also got a SayNow number of course and says it’s the best way to get in touch with him (even on his MySpace page :)
